Sad this series is over, but excited for my next one in the planning stages.
As for the *twist ending* to the 7 Sins, it only felt natural to use the object of my desire as my muse for Lust. Using a female model, no matter how gorgeous, would not have been sincere, it would have been for the audience. I do not make artistic decisions based on what I think people will like. In fact, I am quite certain I might “turn off” some of the fans of this series by ending it this way. Regardless, if you followed the sins in context as they unfolded, I think you will understand the underlying meaning tying all of the photos together. This was a commentary on all things human; the things we struggle with in our every day lives. Who we are, who we want to be, who society wants us to be and the beauty/pain that results from such conflict and repression. I hope someone out there enjoyed seeing the images as much as I enjoyed making them.
Side thought: Now that we own the rope, maybe I should tie him up more ;) The rest of the Lust photos will be posted on my FB page tomorrow. Click the image for the link if you don’t already have it. I wonder if FB will even allow some of the images? We shall see.
Gratitude to everyone who was involved or cheered this project on from the sidelines. I am very excited for 2012.
